Are Hunters Bonded?

I just recently survived an intense 4 hour lightning storm while crossing the Gulf Stream last month on my way to the Bahamas. There were a lot of questions raised in my mind about whether my 1990 Hunter 33.5 was bonded or not. We didn't get hit, fortunately, but would like to know if these boats were bonded in the early 1990's.By the way, the rest of the 2 week trip was worth the frightning crossing.S/V Elena Lua
