Arco winches

Any opinions out there on Arco winches? They are priced better than Lewmar, Harken and Anderson.

Ive got a couple of old 2 speed barlows on my boat they are at least 25 years old I was
looking for parts for them and after some research found arco stocked all the old parts for barient/barlow winches. I bought a kit from them. pawls, springs, races ect. Arco is still making new parts for these winches. My opinion: Arco took over the tooling from the old barlow winch co in Austrailia. I think they are pretty similar. They are bullet proof I would buy them if I needed new winches

I'm agreeing with bffatcat, if they are of similar design and quality as the old Barient/Barlow units, then I'd have no problem with them. I have four two speed barlows, 33 years old, mostly bronze... still going strong.
