Hello all
So I purchased an arch for my boat that will hold solar panels as well as my dinghy. Need advise on hanging / securing the dinghy so as to get best rear visibility. Do you pull the boat all the way up and secure or leave it a little bit down to be able to see better? Love to see any pictures as well!
thanks
Greg

Attached is a photo of my 9'6" Achilles LEX dinghy and 3.5 hp Tohatsu motor on my Hunter 386. Never an issue with visibility from the stern. I tied it off to keep it from bouncing.

You need to hoist it up until it is absolutely snug on the bars and there is zero risk of movement. When we worked with our davit designer, (Ocean Marine), he said the dingy should feel like it is welded in position when raised tor transit.
