app for boat movement?

Hi,
Does anyone know of an app (Android preferrably) using GPS (or whatever) for sensing an anchor dragging and sounding an alarm? It would help my husband sleep better at night! Thanks, Barb

I downloaded Anchor Alert from the Android Market. It seems to have great features and is cheap. You can set it up to text your if the boat drags too far. Of course you have to leave your phone aboard while carrying another one to receive the text. Works great as I have it loaded on mine and my wife's phones. Have not tested it yet.

Thanks, Tim. I'll check it out--my husband's phone will be aboard as well. Can it send another type of message besides text? Like a ring or something?
