the clip that holds the mic for the VHF is broken. unable to secure it to the outside Apelco VHF. where can i get a replacement?

Apelco is a division of Raytheon Marine and you can contact customer service by e-mail via their web page. I reached Raytheon Marine via a search under 'Autohelm' to get info on an Autohelm product. Raytheon Marine replied with info to my question the next day.Dick

The old design I had was to small plastic clips that went into the back of the mike. The clipds broke off easily. I called Raytheon and got the new ones in a couple of days. The new design is like a cup that supports the whole microphone, completely different. The screw holes did not line up so had to drill one new hole too.

I've got the same problem. My dealer mounted the mic holder on the SIDE of the pedestal. I think I broke it off the 1st or 2nd day I had the boat. Been going to chase a new one down --- but, you know how that goes. I called Ratheon and ordered a couple this afternoon. They asked me the model number of the radio. Since the manual and the radio are on the boat two hours away I, of course, don't have a clue. So---- I said, can you look into your database and check on the order that went to my friend Wayne. They took about 1 minute to find it. I said, "Great, send me a couple since he has the same boat and likely the same radio.Thanks, buddy!
