Anyone want to sell an oday 25 centerboard? don't want to spend as much as D&R

I will take your used oday 25 centerboard. I have a 1982 version of the boat and i need a centerboard as mine is lost in the good ole' tampa bay.

D&R has them but it is over 700 to get one to me. i will pay a good amount for it!

Does that include the retaining parts? If not negotiate with D & R, offer half as much and use truck freight.

Why don't you make one for your O'Day 25? All you need is the measurements and the materials and I bet that you can make one up for about $200 or under that. One of the guys in my club made a sketch of the centerboard from his 86 O'Day 26 when he took it out. He gave me that sketch and I posted it on this forum a couple of years ago. I also made a sketch of my OD 222 centerboard when I removed it a few years ago. I'm also pretty sure that the plans for the O'Day rudders and centerboards can be bought through the Mystic Seaport Museum in CT. Ed K. can fill you in on that. Another one of our YC members built a spade rudder for his 73 or 74 O'Day 27 two years ago from scratch,--no plans. It's just a thought worth considering.
