Anyone Use 303 HTFG on Leather ? ? ?

We just replaced the reinforcing leather on our dodger with a light grey leather, rough side out. Previously, I had used 303 High Tech Fabric Guard on the Sunbrella part of the dodger and a beeswax boot grease on the old leather. The Sunbrella looks great after 10 years and and the old leather looks like a rhinocerous hide with excema. :cry:

303's web page describes their High Tech Fabric Guard as the next best thing to holy water for everything that doesn't move or crawl :Liar: but I would like to know if anyone has ever used this stuff on the leather of their dodger and what were the results after a few years ?

Yes, I have used it on my suede wheel cover and dodger trim and it works well, dries right in and leaves no residue. I would not use any of the bee's wax or traditional leather treatments as they are waxy and attract dust & dirt plus they can change the color....

.......................... that's exactly what I have found with using Sno-seal boot sealant.

I'm going to go with 303 HTFG treatment for the next few years and see if I can retain that nice finish on the leather without that "greasy look".

It's either that or keep it perpetually encased in crinkly plastic like my grandmother's furniture.
