http://shop.store.yahoo.com/comfort1st/wicosawiandk.html Might be something fun if you can't get to the bigger boat, or teach the little ones on...and not too pricey.... Probably sails for crap though...

saw it

at the seattle boat show. Looks like fun in warm water, it would suck in the Puget Sound where I sail.

That looks cool. I think you just found us a dingy, and something to keep the teenagers interest!

Fun perhaps, but S L O W

Very stable. Easy to mess around on because it's SO wide, especially for very small kids. But modern sailboards are much more stable than they used to be anyway, and if you understand anything about sailing it's easy to learn. A normal sailboard is SO much faster and more fun than this -- but you can't pack it up in a large suitcase for travel like you can this thing!

Thats what I was thinking

The kids would really like this... mine are a bit young; 4 & 6 but ..... And dad could buzz out to a small lake outside of town during the week and mess around.

I agree with Kingprawn

It would be the perfect tender, and the kids think it's awesome, but I'm sure I would regret it if I tried to use it in the choppy (frigid) SF Bay. I'm going to keep my eyes open for reviews though.
