Buying a used HC 79 38Mark 2
Hi, we are now in the process of purchasing this HC. Well equipped, but needs work. Mainly we need to replace 3 blade prop, shaft, pedro tube due to improper zincs and boat not out of water for 4 yrs. We are experienced with maitenance, but have little with this issue. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, we will be doing blisters, we have done this on three other boats at time of purchase and have not had further problems, but these are slightly bigger we think we will have to peel., also tanks leak and owner has stuffed bladders in tanks but I heard that some people have found the leaks are in the connections not the tanks themselves. What do you think? We didn't just fall off the turnip truck, this is a gorgeous boat and our offer is 23,000 off of orig price listed. It took the owner 6 months to make up his mind. He had no idea maintenance was an every day thing. We can do all work ourselves.
