anyone know the slide width

Anyone know what the width of the slide is on the main for a 1986 C27 tall rig? Mine is 90 minutes away inside my boat, and I'm trying to buy a new sail.

(I appologize for posting this on the general forum, but many of you with other boats are C27 vets.)

Not just width but thickness as well. I broke the top slug in rough conditions recently when the sail was reefed but the luff was not tight enough. I had spares of the correct width but they were not thick enough. We were able to sew one in and used a nylon wire tie to make it work.
