I am about to install a windless and would like any idea's on how and were to mount it.. I have installed a Heart 1000 and two golf cart batteries in the center of the main cabin on the port side so I have the power taken care of..

Sailing Off-shore

I purchased an H 33.5 in the Florida Keys last winter and sailed it in two trips to Mobile Bay. Our longest leg was from Tampa Bay direct to Mobile Bay which is about 375 nmi. We did that in two days and 15 hours and were about 125 nmi off-shore. We had no problems. I would suggest you get a GPS if you don't have one and an EPRIB (just in case). Carefully watching the weather is essential. Where we went there were a few off-shore weather buoys which kept us informed.

Reply from hunter

Greg Emerson at Hunter has told me that they made no provision for a windlass on the 33.5 it appear we must work it out for ourselves unless someone has done it
