Anyone in Cape May?

I'm in Chesapeake City thinking of running down to Cape May tomorrow (May 8) with a group of other boats I know. They all have marina reservations but have been told the place is chock a block full of boats held up by weather and no more slips are to be had.

Does anyone know the situation out in the anchorage by the Coast Guard base? I've spent time there before but it can be a zoo when it's over full.

my father is stuck in cape may right now in Utches.. looks like Thursday will be the day for travel. When i went to pick him up on Sunday the anchorage didn't look full by any means. But thats not to say it hasn't filled up since then with the seas being 7-8 over the past week.. sorry i'm not more help.
