Anyone identify this raw water strainer?

I have a '95 hunter 40.5 and need a new sea water strainer basket for the AC. Can anyone identify this model? Cant find any markings other than "in" and "Out"...

Definitely Groco, but I don't know the model number.

Yes. Looks like an older groco. New ones (750 series) are bronze, glass and plastic with O ring sealed tops the unscrew easily providing access to cleaning out basket. I like my install.

I installed these in my 40.5 for my aux, genset, and A/C. They are Groco strainers. The info on them is:

The model number of the strainers is according to the threaded inlet & outlet. ARG-750 for 3/4" threads, and ARG-1000 for 1" threads.

Stainless steel strainer baskets are also available for a premium price. Your choice. The original baskets were S/S but I have replaced with plastic. They work just fine.

Hello, I was hoping you could help me identify the product in the picture below and in particular which replacement
basket it uses. It is in a 1995 hunter 40.5 and the basket measure about 1.75” in diameter and 5” tall.
It resembles your current product line and others have identified as a Groco as well.

ARG-755 is the closest match – A=6.5 B=4-5/8 with ¾” threads. I can’t get a good reading on the “C” dimension while it is installed.
So, I’m coming in about 0.1 over.

This would give me a BP-1, BS-1 or BM-1 basket, which seems a little larger in diameter than my current model. 1.9” spec vs 1-3/4” measured.
The height looks fine.

Sound right?

That should be correct since 1.9 is the smallest size that we go down to.
