Hello Star2Lee & Welcome to SBO discussions,
+1 for dlochner's recommendation of the Flying Scot. I have been considering the purchase of one myself. Check C-list and sailboatlistings in Florida because some are there now.
Another beautiful day sailer to consider is a Celebrity Class boat. 19ft 6in length with enough wood to please the eyes and light enough to be pulled, rigged, launched, and retrieved by those of us who are advancing in years. We owned two of them over the years and I think they are the most distinctively beautiful small boat afloat! Of course "beauty is in the eye of the beer holder!"
Belated thought......We have considered a H170, but I am concerned for two situations. (1) what seems to be an open transom might be an invitation to lose items that were brought aboard although the seating looks adequate and comfortable. (2) several boats have shown cracks in the gel coat that were more than the occasional "crazing" at sharp angles. On the positive side....with no wood there would not be any varnish of Cetol upkeep.
