Anyone going to the Miami Show next Month???

Bigger better than St Pete?

Kelli and I may go down if it's significantly diff compared to when it was in our backyard a couple months ago, which was great! Maybe combine it with a quick trailerboat trip to the keys with the 260.Ross, a bunch of guys/gals(10-12boats) from the cntl Fl YC are trailering to Gulfport yacht club on the weekend of the 27th, maybe you should sail around the corner and hook up with them/us. When the red tide laid in last year in sarasota I was sailing lakes up their way and found them to be a really nice, casual group. kelli and I are planning to sail up to St Pete/Gulfport from Sarasota for a few days. Bigger and better

We get to St Petes every year, been to Miami twice, 2years ago and 4 years ago. Much bigger, with three locations and free bus between. Sailing gear at the sailing location with general gear in a large auditorium. Power boats near by. All the sailboats that were at St Pete will be there plus the high end sailboats. If you haven't been there it may be worthwhile, will take more than a day to see it all.

St Pete is a one ring show compared to Miami.

The vendor area is much bigger includying discount retailers in addition to specialty items. The boat manufacturers usually bring their full line. This is a true international show. Check online for vendors, seminars and activities.

Sounds like a fun time. Anyone care to recommend a hotel near the shuttle? Nothing to fancy. I ain't payin no $500 a night. Jack
