Hey Frank - I had to bail. The family planned the December birthdays for the same day/evening. Plus the lady that I was going to enter for had to go to a company party on the same day.....Next year!
Next thought---I took the new furler out for a 2nd test hop. The wind was very light and I needed all the sail I could raise. I missed one wrap at the top when I did the fix-it but it still worked very good. Nothing came loose or shifted. I am very pleased with our PVC Furler.
Call me when you think you can go out and I will try to get away.

I stayed home too. Finished wiring the connectors for the mast lights. I need to replace the water pump next. I have two weeks of winter vacation coming, hope to splash then.

Come on VACATION! We might be able to make a big splash!
I pulled up the DB to see if the speed increased under power. Not really. GPS showed no change. I guess this is a good sign. My boat is so basic/stock but with two batteries, a IdaSailor Rudder and two radios. I wonder what Sum's boat must weight?
