Anyone familiar with Maxon Dinghys ?

Never seen one but have found prices under $900 for 8'9" air floor models (CS270), think they may be Canadian. I don't want the best dinghy in the world, I dislike towing and don't use often enough that I'd really like one that I can keep stowed most of the time so light weight, small size & cheap are priorities.

try seaeagle.com for inexpensive dinghys. bought one three years ago the warrenty is great and it seems to fit your requirements

I have a Maxxon Dinghy

I picked it up two years ago for the same reasons you mentioned. Inexpensive and competitive with the other PVC makers. I purchased mine at auction. An importer had stiffed the frieght company and they were recouping fees... Tom
