Anybody have a spare compi prop blade?

Hello all,

After an unfortunate run in with a wandering line, we have noticed
that one of our prop blades on our Combi unit is sheared off...gone.
And we thought that a simple bent blade was causing all that vibration...
Well, the good news is that we are scheduled for a haulout relatively
soon and I was wondering if anyone had a spare prop blade for the
Combi, maybe someone that switched to a standard transmission?
I am still relatively amazed at our ability to move at all...
Has this ever happened to anyone or are we lucky enough to be the only
ones?
Also, is there anything else I should replace/service while the whole
thing will be apart?
Thanks for any help

Hi Cedric

If you are changing teh blade then I would suggest the following:

a. Change both blades as they are balanced
b. Change the control tube
c. Renovate the combi

Most of the work will be taking teh combi etc apart so whilst you do
this you might as well do the lot.

Cheers

Max:
Will these blades fit a Series I, Albin gas engine, Vega?
If so, what are you asking for them?
Thanks!

Hi Peter

My blades fit a Volva MD 6A diesel engine with combi. Sorry I couldn't help you out.

The blades are still new and have never been in the water. I will accept half price of a new set, if anyone is interested.
