The question was originally asked on the Hunter Cherubini forum. Does anyone have any first or second hand knowledge of the Vetus diesel engine? It is made by Mitsubishi and is priced right. It is compact and light weight, maybe too light(25hp=270 pounds)? Main problem seems to be that you have to get a 4-cyl. to go above 25hp. The link to the 25hp is below.
