I have a new 240, previously owned a 23.5 for 8 years. I am uncertain I like the inability to adjust the table when used in the cockpit(height/angle) and once in place in the cabin it is always in the way. Has anyone came up with an idea as to how to convert this to a table that is multi-adjustable. There are times when it is in the cabin I would really like it taking up far less center space. Better yet is there a table I can buy to replace the one I have that has the features mentioned? Thanks...

v berth/aft berth storage
We always chuck ours table side down in the V berth or aft berth to get it out of the way. It is only my wife and I aboard generally. We rarely use our table.

It appears the table is about the same as
the Hunter 23.5. The table leg on my 23.5 is bent to accomodate the tiller if used inthe cockpit. That curve inthe led allows me to store it in place below decks but actually have it out of the center of the passage way. Perhaps you can substitute the 23.5 leg for the 24. Hayden

Swedish table solution
Anyone have any idea who did that table? It looks exactly like the solution I'm looking for and far better than what I was thinking about. I'm especially interested in the hardware used.

Hi Mark! You got it right, it is a very handy table and it is very common in Swedish boats, we had one in our former 33ft sail yacht too. The measures I put in the Photo Forum is somewhat to big - I am a metric man and something went wrong in the conversion. They have no retailer in the US but I found out that there is an American manufacturer of tri´s that mount this tables in there boats. I think you can get the adress from "narkesvital". You need a complete kit and one extra fastener, here it costs about 1800 Sw. Crowns incl. 25% tax, that is about 170$. I put the manufacturers adress on the "related link" Good luck!

You can buy it from the largest dealer in Sweden, they normally trade inside EU but I spoke to them this morning and they probably can help you. (They are situated in Sundsvall at N 62,5 dgr). Send a mail to: info@hjertmans.se and ask for Sten Hjertman. If you want to see the item, go to their homepage www.hjertmans.se, it is all in Swedish so I will pilot you: click on the light green square "inredningsbeslag ...", then go to the left frame and chose "bord för sittbrunn - Lagun" and then "Bordsunderrede Lagun". It has an article number 3898-605, click on that and you vill se a picture of the hardware. You will need a 3898-605 and a 3898-607 for the cockpit. It will cost 1490 + 295 SEK, from that they will take off 20% Swedish tax and add for the shipping. Today we pay 9.30 SEK for one US$. /Per/240 AMFI
