How's the Kiwi for sitting on? I've got to fix some voids in my cockpit seats. Since I won't be able to recreate the fine grain molded in pattern I thought I'd paint over the whole thing with non-skid. I'd like it to be comfortable to sit on, though, since we don't use the cushions unless we have guests.

Interlux Interdeck is what we use on our Catalina non-skid decks. It is easy to sit and kneel on and very easy to apply. Clean the deck of dirt and oil, dry, mask off area and paint on. It feels like paint but has what I describe as the feel of a pencil eraser. I don't like the looks and feel of the brands that have the grainy feel.

I have only read about Kiwi. It sounds "aggressive". And I agree with Sailynn regarding Interdeck. It really doesn't "look" like it could work but it does. I brushed mine when I found the roller was soaking up too much paint. And I still had to brush because the roller left an uneven surface. I did not thin the paint. I did split the deck in half so that I could keep a wet edge while working alone.

Ed your deck looks nice. I am assuming the tan is the Interdeck..... Did it fill the non skid pattern? Do you have a close up picture you can post?

Thanks!
