Any idea of cost for mast extrusion

Have been on phone with Selden and Torresen Marine. Can not seem to get straight answer from anyone. It is apparent that my furling mast extrusion has been bent due to freezing water when stored on side this winter. Does anyone have any idea on the cost to replace this type of extrusion. I have a 326 Hunter. I just want to be prepared for $500 or $5000 so I can start my summer off with a good kick in the groin.

Have you checked with your insurance company? They can negotiate the price with the supplier.

well.... dont plan on $500, and if you need a complete mast you also have to think about how its going to get there (shipping) which wont be cheap either, i think my friend paid about $7500 5 years ago when the yard broke his stick.

mike, bigsick was referring to the in-mast furler extrusion and not the mast itself.

bigsick, hope it won't give you big sick when you get the bill for the replacement extrusion.
