Any help please with 1984 H34 mast/boom specs?

Hello Fellow Sailors,
Gordon here. In an effort to re-rig my H34 after a dismasting I am in need of a few measurements that I am unable to obtain. If any of you H34 owners could spare a few minutes measuring on your own boat I would owe you many thanks. This is what I need please-
Length of H34 boom
Speader lengths and widths (all the same??)
Exit blocks and angle on H34 masts
How many exit plates on the mast
Type of upper shroud tangs and distance from mast head

While I have what passes for an owner's manual for my H34, I don't recall any specific dimensionals being given in it that could be used for re-rigging.

I would suggest that you get in touch with Hunter's technical support to see if they have any specification call-outs that will provide you with that information.

Also check on this site's H34 model listing under the Boat Info tab at the top of the page as that should lead you to some of the specs you seek.

Keep in mind that these boats were rigged with a B&R rig that was set up (tuned) off the boat with the mast then being set in place and trued up on centerline and perpendicular in the boat.

Given your location you have a major task ahead of you in trying to find a replacement. Over 1,200 of this model were made so you might get lucky and find a salvaged rig.

Have you considered contacting Rig-rite in R.I.? You may also consider contacting Seco South in Fl.

you can mesure the sails that will give you the smallest lenights that the mast and boom should be. to know the itx and the ity would be nice.i have sent many a riggs to st.croix.

There is a mast for sale in the Gear ads. It would be interesting to know if this rig from a 33.5 would work on a 34.
