Yup

Geocaching's a blast. Never thought of doing a sailing related cache - good idea. I like your screen name - I usually leave one of my helicopter pins as a signature item..... Gregg

Geocaching is habit forming

Since I discovered this hobby a year ago, I have searched, stumbled, gotten soaking wet, lost, and even found 100 hidden treasures. ;D The Rochester area has many caches hidden along the Genesee River and the shores of Lake Ontario. I don't believe that I have run across one that I would call sailing related. I did find one that was hidden at an old boat dumping ground with burned out hulks of old boats, but the cache was the standard stuff. Perhaps I should start hiding some of my own and use a sailing theme since my Geocache name is Dry Sailors.

geocaching

I was thinking something like "drop hook at N... W.... Take dinghy to N.... W.... look such and such." Not concerned with the find being sailing related more getting there by boat. I hope to cruise the cheasapeake soon and thought i would see if there was something to entertain the kids with. Dave
