I'm looking into painting my trailer sailor so I won't be using any type of abaltive or antifouling paint. Anything that decides to take up residence will be dead by the next day anyway.
I have decided on a a single stage paint. I've heard and listened to all the reasons to use a two-stage but I have more time than money. And since the difference in paint is about $120 per gallon, and I'll need two to three gallons, using two-stage would mean just plain not doing it.
SO, to my point. Supermarine sports a product called SM-1000. They claim it does everything but cure cancer. It actually sounds like what I'm looking for. Easy application, hard, durable, can be used above and below the waterline. Does anybody have experience with it? How is the gloss level? Does it perform as claimed?
