Cal 48s
The Cal 48 is pretty but tends to be wet and has a kind of odd aft cabin arrangement. I looked at one about 7 years ago but decided not to buy it. The Cal 43 has almost as much room, a better (IMHO) interior layout and will fit in a 40 foot slip. I almost bought a nice one of those last year but finally got a Cal 40 because I want to do Transpac again. A few Cal 48s have done extensive cruising. I know one Cal 43 that went around the world (the one I almost bought). I know a very nice Cal 43 that is for sale in Long Beach, CA.
