I request from any Aquarius owners out there: Request dimensions for an Aquarius 21 centerboard. I beleive it is the same as an Aquarius 23 built by Coastal Recreation, Inc. located in Costa Mesa, CA and Strasburg, VA.
I also had a 23and it was a great boat... sailed really nice and roomy for a 23... I also had some problems with the centerboard (make sure you change the pivot pin to stainless vs the cast one they came with... After many years of production of the Aquarius 21 and 23,resulting in thousands of happy owners, the name was changed to Balboa in 1977 to make advertising more consistent for the manufacturer and to have the whole line identified as Balboa" There is a yahoo group dedicated to the aquarius line. subscribe to Aquarius-owners on the link below
