Any advice on slips in Pensacola?

I'm thinking of sailing up to Pensacola around Thanksgiving 2003. Need a slip, freshwater, and light electrical to recharge batteries. Be in a sailboat (H27 OB powered), 40ft clearance minimum, and prefer as close to getting back into the gulf as possible. 3 or 4 days max in slip. What's the going rate for slip fees out that way? Any bad crime areas, bad marinas or other areas to keep the boat away from? I'll be traveling from there up to Alabama during the holiday....then sailing back home (Rio Grande area). Thanks! Jack

Ole Seville Marina

that's my pick and favorite, was there this past weekend. nice new floating dock, elec, cable, pump out, fuel, great resturant, 2 hrs to Pensacola Pass (even in my old SLOW Catalina LOL @ Tom) and walking distance to downtown Pensacola. $1.25 per ft and did I mention real nice people! ;) BTW, if you over this way be sure and check out the cove at Fort McCree next to P'cola Pass. it is a must see for the area. protected waters on all sides and just 300 ft across the sand dunes to either the pass or the Gulf.
