Aldo-do you trailer

your C-22 quite a bit? How does the Micron CSC hold up to the trailering?

We live near Hershey, PA. We keep the boat near here in the winter, and I work on it a little in the spring, before I put it into the water. I trailer it 100 miles to Middle River. Then we put it into the water for the summer. When you asked do I trailer sail it, do you mean do I put it in and take it out every time we use it? We don't. We put it in for the early summer, then pull it out in the fall. We have several years on the paint, so far, and I have only touched it up quickly. I must add, however, that I haven't solved the "paint on the keel" problem yet. When I first painted the bottom with the Micron CSC, I painted a 7 inch diameter circle onto the keel with the under coat that I used on the hull, that is, bright green. (The top coat is black). That way, I can see when the top coat has disolved away. When the hull appears green, it's time to for me add another coat of paint. Anyway, I have been using up my old vinyl bottom paint on the keel each year. I am currently thinking about having my keel coated and bushed, and then I will put the ablative paint onto it too. If you put your boat in and take it out every time you sail, do you have a guide on you trailer to guide the keel? If not, you should. This aligns the keel with the rubber "V" on the trailer. If you want some advice on that, let me know and I will try to find the photos of my guide (it's crude, but it works great)and e-mail them to you.
