I have been trying to find they Anticorrosion Zinc on my Yanmar 2GM20 diesel used in my 1987 O'Day 322. It has a fresh water-cooling system with a heat exchanger. If anyone knows where the Zinc would be located, I would appreciate the help.

Not sure if mine is the same.

I'm not sure if yours would be the same as mine. I have what looks like a double nut on the bottom of the heat exchanger. The larger one closest to the exchanger is so you can put a wrench on it when loosening or tightening the inner nut which holds the zinc rod. The rod is about an 1-1/2 long. This should all be in the engine manual; if you do not have one you can order one from www.marineengine.com/manuals. I ordered a few manuals from hear for my engine. I had the same problem when I bought my boat as it had no engine manual. My boat is a 1982 oday 30 and my engine is a 5416 Universal 2cyl. You might also be able to find the information at http://marinedieseldirect.com I ordered my zinc's from them and other parts for my engine. You may be able to find the information you need on there web site. If you do a search for the part, they have pictues of the part and surrounding parts. Good luck!
