anti syphon valve

Can anyone tell me the correct routing and type of anti syphoning valve on my 1980 Catalina 30?

Mine is an '83

My anti-syphon valve on my 83 Cat.30 is below the sink on the starboard side. The hose runs from the heat exchange unit up under the sink to the anti-syphon valve and back down into the exhaust elbow towards the muffler. When I purchased my boat, the valve was in terrible shape. I bought a new one at West Marine which has held up well. I check it every few months.
