Sea water in the engine bildge! Where is it coming from? We got into port and found that the rocking of the engine had rocked the antisyphon devise against the galley and fractured the plastic. To solve the problem and possible reoccurence I made a packer plate to bring the devise out from the galley. Check your fitting before the engine is showered with sea water.

Hmmmmmm

IMHO, anti-siphon valves are an accident waiting to happen. Many will disagree, vociferously, but if you substitute a simple "T" fitting, and lead a hose from the extra outlet up to a level well above the rest of the plumbing, and the waterline, of course, you will have a bullet-proof siphon break. If it is malodorous, you can lead it to a vent fitting. Nothing to break, maintain, or worry about.
