NON -SKID
I sail a 1985 H37C and when I purchased it the non skid was non existant. My remedy, and it has lasted three years was to strip and clean the deck of all dirt and wax, carefully outline the non skik area with 3M fine line tape and paint it with Interlux Brightside Polyurethane to which I added Interlux nonskid compound and a flattening agent to get out the gloss. I rolled it on with a narrow foam roller. I tested it with and without a primer and since the fiberglass was so porous I declined to use the primer and the nonskid has held up EXTREMELY well. I used a grey paint, if I ever do it again to this boat of another I will pick a lighter color, because the grey get "warm" on a sunny day on Long Island Sound"
