I am planning on installing a marine radio with a mast mounted antenna on my 240. Can anyone tell me what type connector for the antenna coax is best to use on the cabin top. Also I need to know the procedure for getting to the cable above the headliner inside the cabin. The boat has a AM/FM/CD player installed next to the steps by the sink and I am thinking about mounting the marine radio above it. I would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks, Lynn

I just did that on a 260

Hi Lynn, I just did that to my 260, picked it up this morning as a matter of fact. On the 260 there are lines that are run in-between the deck and the cabin cealing. The guy who did mine used those lines to run the wires to the through-hull near the base of the mast. For the through-hull I bought a 2 inch female-female connector from BoatUS. then drill a hole in the hull where you want the connection, and mount the through-hull. I say this like it was easy as pie but I also didn't do the work, so I dont know how hard it will be. As far what type of connector I think that epends on what gage or type of wire you use, there are several choices. Maybe someone else can halp you that. Anyway good luck. Brad
