He got the boat for free.
Dismasted in a collision with freighter by previous owner.
Maybe he's thinking it will be cheap to convert ? Let alone operation costs once done.
I suspect this is destined for failure unless he has experience and deep pockets.
It has been done to another open 60 so he has a resource there.
If he doesn't have the money, maybe begging via Patreon is an option.

I have watched a few of the Duracell videos. I would say that the guy knows what he is doing. Lots of fiberglass work, building up laminate sheets, etc.
not sure what his budget is, or how he is funding it. I do know he is looking for a mast for the boat.

Interesting story about a sailor with a dream and the focus to achieve it. No money and a sketchy past. Like many sailors.
I was amazed that a woman in Greece involved with the Prime Minister would come to his aide while he is in jail. There may be another story attached to that history.
