Another Trailer Question

I found a guy to move my axle back and fix my busted trailer... BUT we are having trouble locating a replacement rear attachment point.this (etrailer) link is pretty extensive, but not seeing it....I THINK the rear spring attachment is flat metal (2" long) with an eye in the end which connects to 2 Shackle links. which then connect to the rear spring.the front attachment is a standard hanger, and easily found....also look at this photo of my trailer.-Does anyone know exactly how the rear spring is attached to the standard 26' classic trailerand were to find this part.... thanks!!!(front attachment)http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h169/ftldiver2/P5070011.jpgrearhttp://s64.photobucket.com/albums/h169/ftldiver2/?action=view&current=P5070020.jpg(my B.Y.E. solution...)http://s64.photobucket.com/albums/h169/ftldiver2/?action=view&current=P5070017.jpg

Spring slider

Champion trailer sells a device that bolts on to the frame of the trailer. Then the springs attach to it. Makes it very easy to adjust the axle fore and aft.

this company also had good parts lists...http://shop.easternmarine.com/fwiw, the welder fabricated new long hangers to make up for the drop links / shackles.... (so I'm good now)-I just hope the fenders dont rub.... will know by sat.thanks john!-amazingly the trailer is still pretty solid...

Trailer Fixed

I got the trailer today. my trl looks exactly the same as the photo in johns link. and no problem with fender clearance.only thing is, I pulled the trailer home empty... it really likes to bounce without a load... I'll check the alignment, but I think once it loaded it will be fine. but empty its is a jumping bean!
