The new table is made of African Mohagany, with two foldable side . The original base was incorporated, for support. The V-Berth was extended with storage compartment. The table can be rotated like the oringinal one, and rest on the v-berth. It can also be raised to the roof.

I live in Mission BC, 1 hour east of Vancouver.
The table is held is position with a 2" ABS pipe . The pipe is 32" long. It has a groove cut in the bottom for the 1/2 pin in the compression post. Notches in the top end to match the table's plastic fitting.
It's nice to get the table away for loading and cleaning. I don't sail/ trailer with it up.

Not quite a elegant as those others, but it was cheap, functional, easy to do, and I think it looks alright. I made it out of an old cherry headboard. No finishing required.
