Another newbe Question

I want to repack my stuffing box on my 1984 C-27 .. I was all over the boat this weekend. How in the heck does someone get in the engine compartment to work on it? I couldn't find a way. Thanks in AdvandancePat

access is in the cockpit locker. I hope your thin!

Panel access

The starboard quarter berth has a panel at the end of it, just under the stern locker. Take that off (phillips head screws) and crawl around the corner. Or you could try leaning in through the engine access panel. Neither is a very comfortable solution.
