Received an offer last nite for my H25, the "Narrow Escape".... we'll sea trial on Friday and hopefully close the deal. Gotta' admit, I've got mixed emotions - I love that boat and have great memories of summer days and nites on the lake, but I'm also anxious to move up! I need a lot more headroom (I'm 6'2") and better racing numbers.... (Sure did enjoy passing the Cat 27's and Cat 30's though!) The Narrow Escape has been for sale since last September, and I had hoped to sell her in time for a replacement to be in the water for the Memorial Day race. But Murphy's Law..... now I hope I can be in the water for the July Fourth race! I'll miss the forum's on HOW and all of your input, of course, but if I can get the boat I want - a Beneteau 305 - I'll be just "next door" on Phil's other site. And if I get too nostalgic for a H25, I'll call Jay and sail his H25 on my childhood home lake, Texoma! Ah, Spring! What a time of year! Michael O'

"Missed it By That much...!"

Good luck on your new purchase, whenever that is, and yes, you are welcome to "come on down" an sail Fancy Free. Should be moving her to Texoma on May 11. A new bottom job, deck paint, handrails, brightwork, and sails and she should be ready to start doing some maintenance on her. :) I also have a Beneteau 305 in the charter fleet in case you get homesick while visiting. Hope you're on the water soon.
