Another Module

Our 1999 340 warranty ends 3/31. We had mixed results with the fridge the last year...threw out quite a bit of food. had to have a module put in, and notifed the yard that last fall prior to pullout for drydock, it wasn't working again. A shame we must babysit our fridge, so the the question is, since I am likely looking at more modules, what do modules cost, can I get them from the factory, and are they easy to install?

The yard should check for the obvious such as voltage drops in the wiring anywhere from the batteries all the way to the unit. If all this tests good, call me at the factory and I will arrange for a new module to be sent to you. There is a two year warranty on the product. The style of module you have is no longer being used. We are manufacturing our own for replacement.

My Experience

I have a 1997 340 with the same refrigerator system and have not had one bit of trouble. I ran it this weekend, all was fine and it is beginning it's fourth season so there is hope for yours.

Refrigeration on our 340

Had refrigeration problem on our Hunter 340 (1997). First had refrigeration mechanic out to check it and he could not fix.A/B sent out a complete new unit, compressor, cold plate and thermostat.Works fine.ChrisFestina TardeHull 107
