saw some postings some time back about storage space solutions. i was working on mine too at the time but took a little different tack. thought i'd post a pic for anyone that wants some more storage space ideas. i utilized the wasted space under the "galley". also, when the galley is pulled out, (mine just stays out), the area behind it has allot of wasted space too so i put an access hole in the front of the galley to help reach back and/or store stuff there too.

another idea

I cut holes under the quarter berths to allow easier access to the under berth storage areas. See photo.

i'm considering that too

looks nice. i hadn't thought of using the edging around the hole. i'm considering doing just what you did and also enlarging the top access holes....at least on some of the lockers. the small hole up top is a bit hard to get a large object through...such as a tackle box. it is also annoying to have to remove the cushions every time i want something.

rubber hose edging

I simply cut a slit along one side of some black rubber hose and clamped it on. I might have to glue it on though as it occasionally comes off in hot weather.

Great Ideas!

And thanks for the photos. There is a little space more to be found in the port and starboard sides under the V-berth. This is where the porta-potty is stowed, and therefore appropriate for TP and [propane] gas stowage. Mark Major, s/v Lesismor 86H23
