South San Diego Bay that is. Overcast all day. Good to excellent winds. Great temperature. A few notable events while on the water.

First was cross through a regatta. I don't like doing that but with the wind conditions today, it was avoidable. Even though I was on starboard tack the whole time I was crossing, I purposely changed course to not make any of the other boats do the same. Such a nice guy... but I hate regattas. LOL

Then as I entered the channel the wind was not favorable. I kept asking for a lifter so I could head up a wee bit more just to stay in the channel. I didn't want to have to tack. So when I was there, I spied a large power boat coming my way. Lets see... me sail... he power. OK, I stand on! What the heck is he doing. He keeps changing course and I counter because his course change puts us in collision mode. I was about ready to grab my air horn when he finally decides to head higher up to pass at my bow. OMG... USCGA vessel. I wave and wonder...

Just a great day on the bay. It don't go no better than this right here! Hope you guys had a chance to get out on the water.

Fair winds
