Did O'day make several years of anniversary editions or just one? And what year or years? Thanks Ed

My 1985 O'Day 35 was a 25th Anniversary Edition, as is my friend's '85 O'Day 26. I'm unaware of any other "anniversary" years or editions.

Anniversary models have a different color hull?
Being new to O'Day boats. It seems when I was searching to buy my 222 I had found that those Anniversary boats had light gray hulls, Coincidence or fact? Does anyone know?

I believe that they were making anniversary editions for 3 years 84, 85 and 86. My 1985 26 is a 25 year anniversary edition. The hull is white or now you might say almond.

How do you tell an Anniversary O'Day ?
Instead of the O'Day logo on each side of the cabin there is a metal plaque that says Anniversary Edition. My 26 is O'Day gray. The interior cushions are not the silver anniversary blue like the later models though.

Nice little blip about George O'Day in March April of GOOD OLD BOAT. Says George won both an Olympic Gold Metal and an America's Cup. That is neat. Article says he died in July of 1987.
