Annapolis to Ithaca journey

My father-in-law lives aboard his Niagara 35 and cruises north to south every year. This past month on his way through Annapolis he helped me buy a Dyer dinghy from a Kingston Ontario sailor ... and now I have to get it home. It's (with a 2.1 hp outboard) leaning against a friend's garage in Annapolis and I would love to have it in Ithaca before the harsh winter sets in. Does anyone have an idea of how to get this 8 foot rowboat to Ithaca NY? Is anyone interested in visiting Cornell University by way of Annapolis? It's about a 6 1/2 hour drive for me and I would hate to spend a weekend going back and forth. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Eric C Lindstrom 607-272-4246

Call a moving company?

...Just a thought... They may be able to pack it up and truck it to your location, and may not be too expensive. Personally, I'd make a travelling weekend out of it- Annapolis has been a great stop every time I've been there! --Jon Bastien H23 '2 Sheets to the Wind' H25 'Adagio'
