Annapolis sailboat rentals

I'm heading up to Maryland on vacation in a couple of weeks and I'd like to take some friends out sailing on the Bay while I'm there. Does anyone know if there's a place in Annapolis or the Anne Arundel County area where I could rent a large daysailer or small keelboat (up to say 30 feet) for a day? peter you might try spinsheet.com. they have links to sailing aroung the bay.I also believe sunsail is based in annapolis. There are plenty of places to rent boats of all sizes. I appreciate your help. Actually, I lived out in Gaithersburg for years and traveled to quite a few places in Maryland but never had the opportunity to sail on the Bay (I've been out fishing for stripers a few times though). I've also never been as far south on the eastern shore as Bivalve. It sounds like a great place.PeterH23 "Raven"

Isn't SunSail there in Anapolis?

I know I'm chartering a boat from them after the Boat Show this fall....I think they are either in Anapolis or very handy to it.Brad

SunSail at Annapolis Landing Marina

Sunsail has a site at Annapolis Landing Marina. I have not used their services, but I stayed for a couple of days at Annapolis Landing Marina while on a Chesapeake cruise two weeks ago. Will Sunsail will do a day rental?

I've chartered with them before (great company) but to me it seemed that the time and efort needed to clean and prep a boat was too much to let someone have it for just a day. Then again, I could be wrong. Thanks again.PeterH23 "Raven"
