What's the word on Jay at Annapolis Rigging?
Good,Bad. or otherwise?

Are you looking for a 'good' rigger?
There's one on the upper eastern shore (Chestertown area) that has very good 'instinct', recently started his own independent business, very precise, about 10-12 years of rigging experience, etc. He's a former long distance BIG boat crew/racer.
Very hard to find a 'good' rigger nowadays.

I had a guy like that almost work for me. Never met him though. Come to think of it I never got the chance to fire him either.
I would never trust my rigging (or business) to someone that doesn't keep there commitments.

So he never showed up, and you called him twice...he must have been recommended? I have been trying to work with him, but his backlog means he is busy for the right reasons, right?

Don't know the guy, BUT don't "Assume" that because a person or business is back logged that they are GOOD. We have a few local places, not sailing related that we WILL NOT do business with but they are always busy because there are few in the area that do what they do.

RichH, I would like that name if you don't mind. Not in need now but will be sooner or later.
