Thanks again to everyone who braved the wild weather in Annapolis this week to hang out for a while in the SBO 'hood.

Putting faces with with usernames is one of my favorite things and meeting all these folks reminds me how remarkable this forum really is. Truly great people, both in digital and biological form.

From left to right: sailingseadragon, gettinthere, Maine Sail, rpwillia, and Mrs. rpwillia.

Front to back: Phil Herring, serge0227, Buck420, everyone excited to be in the photo!

gettinthere, Mrs. gettinthere, sailingseadragon.

Not pictured: DAVA390, who left a little early. It was really fun to meet DAVA390, as he's new to all this.

Jim Seamans, who I swear looks younger than he did last I saw him 10 years ago.

This is Bly, who you don't know from the forums but you should: she's half owner of SBO. Here, the Gecco is explaining why she should dump USAA.

Some of the real old timers on the board may remember Jim Bohart, who worked for Hunter Marine, was a forum regular, and is a big reason this site exists today. Sadly, we lost Jim a couple years ago. Well, Jim has a son and we were thrilled to run into him at the show. Meet Clayton Bohart. Last time I saw Clayton he was about 8 years old! Just like his dad, Clayton now works in sales and marketing at Marlow-Hunter.

While Phil & Bly were a class act, and very gracious, Gettinthere and his better half provided me some tremendous camaraderie, hospitality, irreverent non-PC humor and put up with me for three full days. That takes work, and Pussers.....;)

Thanks guys!!!!!

Despite the bad weather it seems like a congenial gathering. Wish I were there. Really. Instead I was bashing my brains out sailing the revered Whitebread XX regatta here in the Long Island Peconic Bays. Northeast wind in the mid twenties for four days leading up to the race means WAVES. No give up in the wind and even today it's still blowing.

Really sorry I missed this meet. I'm actually closer to Annapolis than Mainesail. Unfortunately it was our Turkey Day so weekend fully booked and it all came together too late.

Real sorry I was not able to hang with you all on Friday. My Son decided to get married on Sunday and I was best man down on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Had fun on Thursday at the show. Bought a bunch of stuff for our next trip to the Bahamas.

Great seeing Bly and Phil. Phil, getting younger comes from being retired and cruising.....No Worries Mon....
