Very sad, but I can’t say I’m surprised. When I first heard they were still planning on going forward I was expecting a very different type of event than the usual - more like private appointments for serious potential buyers. I’ve gone the last few years but was going to skip this year anyway. I’m not in the serious buyer category and I can’t imagine trying to have hundreds or thousands of people going in and out of confined cabins talking to sales reps and vendors right now.

There is a Stuart Boat Show in the fall and I expect the same thing will happen. Social distancing would be a pipe dream in that circumstance.

They canceled the Newport Boat show awhile ago. Not surprised

alas we will have to forego our annual annapolis trip to look at boats we cannot afford, and buy more interesting and useful stuff we don't need at Bacon.s. let's drink a dark and stormy in memoriam.
