Somebody on another thread mentioned how nice it would be to put a face to some of the names we keep seeing on here. With the Annapolis Boat Show coming up we have an excellant opportunity to do a little of that. I propose that if you are at the show on ANY day, show up at the Good Old Boats magazine booth at 13:00 and see who else from here is there.What do you think, are you in? ...I proposed this for ALL show days. It just so happens that there are a lot of us responding to this thread that will be there on Friday. Hopefully, by the day before the show others will have seen this and show up at Good Old Boat at 13:00 on Sat., Sun. and Mon.TO ALL; Whatever day you are at the show, show up at the Good Old Boats booth at 13:00 and see if any other posters show up!Toms/v Orion's Child

The only thing I hate more than fighting the crowds on Saturday is having to work on Friday! So.. I guess I'm stuck with the show on Saturday. Previous years it rained and it kept the crowds down. Wasn't too bad in the drizzle though.

Lunch at Boat Show

Karen Larson, founder and publisher of "Good Old Boat" has proposed that all SBOers attending the Boat Show on Friday Oct 5th meet at their booth (N3) around noon and we all go to lunch together.... I'm going to be at the show with other people and we usually have lunch on the fly. I'm not really sure I'd want to committ enough time for a sit-down lunch. My time at the show is limited. I definitely can't speak for the guys I'll be with.Toms/v Orion's Child
