Good suggestion, thanks.

My wife and I will be there on Friday, but don't know how to be recognizable. Maybe a "nametag" with either boat name or Sailboat owners user name?
Don't worry about being recognizeable. There will be a few of us with hats and phil sent me a burgee I'll be waving. Don't forget bills code phrase!

I'll be there. My shirt will be 2-inch squares of white and blues. Blues, as about the boats I can't afford.

Silly question

This is my first time, but what is the proper shoe wear for walking on the boats? I don't have boat shoes, I usually wear sandals and take them off and go bare foot on my boat. Do you have to remove your shoes to go on the display boats? socks? bare feet? sneakers?? thanks!

Most require socks.. be prepared to remove shoes at the dock or immediately on boarding. It is FUN..

Just look for the loud blonde with the noisy laugh. That will be me.
I gotta say, folks, 5 of us stood around looking for a sign from above(Phil), but there was none to be seen. No one loud nor noisy, either. A flag maybe? Maybe next year. I singled out the most likely Princess, and asked if she was - and she was! We all moved over to the rail overlooking the boat show, and others drifted in. Jim and Joan Seamans, JEB, 2 couples from Ohio, JIMM, Chuck and Kathy from NJ and I (Ron) and a few others whom I hope will chime in since i'm sorry i didn't remember everyone.

It would have been nice to sit around a dinner table and chat, but the boat show must go on. Maybe next year i'll have everyone over to my place in Eastport for dinner.

Priness was very nice, and it sounds like she has a good plan for her visit to Maryland. I was able to impart a pearl of wisdom to her, and we had a nice goodby. it was a nice day at "the show"

Great show, it was fun putting faces to names. Was amazed on how crowded it was on Friday. Weather was perfect....

A CatalinaOwner's hat is the only picture?! All you guys got together at Pusser's and that's all we get? Someone surely got a group photo.

Princess took more. I think she was staying the weekend so we may see some during the week. I just posted mine from the mobile site.

Looks like we missed the rest of the SBO crew on Friday at the Annapolis Boat Show, but the crews from B&B Time and C'est La Vie from Lake Texoma enjoyed the show on Thursday and Friday. Incredible weather, outstanding Painkillers, and an overall great experience.

Sorry it took so long to post but it was a busy week. It was great to meet everyone at Pusser's but I only got a couple of pictures that I am posting. In the group shot, from left to right there is BRGRUDE (Brad), POTL (Me), Jimmseamans and his wife, JEB21851 (Sonny), Ron20234 (Ron). Some of the folks got cut off and I am sorry about that. The second photo is of GPD955 (Jack) and his pal the Mad Scientist I think. Funny guys.
I hope we will all have a chance to get together again soon and I look forward to meeting other SBO friends someday.
